The base pay rate in New York City (all five boroughs) is $19.10 per hour. The pay rate in the rest of New York State (excluding New York City) is $17.55 per hour.
Who qualifies as a family caregiver with Personal Care Assistance (PCA)?
Siblings, grandchildren, nieces/nephews, cousins, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and close friends.
Not eligible to be a family caregiver with Personal Care Assistance (PCA):
Sons, daughters, spouses, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, or legal guardians.
Our service area includes all five boroughs of NYC, surrounding areas, and some New York counties.
The number of care hours the patient receives is determined based on several Medicaid assessments of the patient’s health condition.
